Our sole mission is to assist Amateur radio organizations in receiving grants to further the service of Amateur Radio, specifically for Emergency Communications. Our organization also serves as a place where families of amateur radio operators who have passed away will have a place to donate equipment and funding that will be used to further the Emergency Services supported by amateur radio.

Founded in late 2023, Pacific Amateur Radio Foundation was created in memory of one of Ham Radio's greatest supporters, Ron Koenig W6AXC. Ron worked with our team of local hams for over 20 years furthering and building Emergency Communications sites to assist Homeland Security and California Office of Emergency Services. Ron passed away in January 2022 and will be missed by many! This site has been dedicated to Ron and other hams we have lost over the past couple of years.
The vault containing our Auburn, California repeater site has Ron's old license plate from 1952 affixed to the side as a reminder of his great service to Amateur Radio.
